Join Aoife Dooley -creator of Frankie’s World and Squid Squad, for a comic making workshop in Mountmellick Library, Wednesday 5th of November at 10am. This is a schools event.
Aoife Dooley is an award-winning illustrator, author, and comedian. Diagnosed as autistic at 27, she shares her experiences through talks, comics, and books that connect with audiences of all ages.
She is best known for ‘Frankie’s World’, which won multiple awards and has been translated into several languages. Aoife also created the popular series ‘Your One Nikita’, later adapted as an animated show for RTÉ. She has spoken at major events such as Offset and Zeminar, performed stand-up at festivals including Electric Picnic, and Vodafone Comedy Festival.
